February Stampo

I've had to reschedule Stampo again this month - I'm planning on Thursday, Feb. 17th.  Projects are $1 each (do as many as you'd like) and will start at 7:00.  Bunco is $6 and will start at 8:00.  Here are two of the cards you have the option of making.  Depending on how my week goes I may or may not add another project... I'm lacking inspiration at the moment and can't find a 3D project I'm in love with this month.  :)  I hope you can come!

Totally 4 Troops stamp-a-thon Success!

Huge apologies to Jill!  (I was too focused on trying to keep my crazy boy aligned).  Sorry I didn't think to get a shot of everyone before a bunch of people left!

I am so slow in getting this posted!!  The Totally 4 Troops stamp-a-thon was so much fun and a great success!  We made over 200 cards in about 2 1/2 hours!  Thank you so much to all those that came and participated!  I can't wait to do it again!

Our Young Women are awesome!

Yummy caramel corn

Thanks for another super fun evening ladies!  For those of you that wanted the addicting caramel corn recipe, here it is!  I got this directly from one of the blogs that I follow "Stamping Addict", so the credit goes to her!

Microwave Caramel Corn

1/2 C butter
1 C brown sugar
1/4 C dark karo syrup
dash of salt

Microwave on high 4 min. in a glass bowl.  Stir after 2 min.

Then add:
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. vanilla

Stir until fluffy.  Pour this over a full bag of the puffed corn (I bought mine at Walmart) in a large microwavable bowl.  Stir this up (it starts to harden quickly, so I stirred as I poured), then microwave for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.

Spread out on wax paper to cool.  This will make it easier to break into smaller pieces and put back in the bowl.

She also suggests melting some chocolate almond bark and drizzling it over the corn while it's cooling on the wax paper.  She puts it in the fridge to harden and then breaks it up into smaller pieces.

Enjoy!

November Stampo!

Here they are!  These are the projects you can choose from at Stampo this month.  We'll be meeting at my house this Friday, November 19th.  Come make projects at 7:00 and/or come play bunco at 8:00!  Make as many projects as you'd like for only $1 each.  Bunco is $6 and everyone will get a prize!

Everyone who comes to Stampo this month will receive a special gift from me!  Hope to see you there!!  Be sure to RSVP as space for bunco is limited.  If you know you're going to want to make "bunches" of projects, let me know that too so I can be prepared.  I usually prep plenty of supplies but with it being Christmas cards, I realize some of you might want to make more than you usually do.

Isn't Dasher darling?  Sorry about the coloring in the photo - I've decided that my new camera is lame when it comes to figuring out indoor lighting.

You'll make all 3 tags for $1
